Wild Care of Cape Cod in Eastham has been in existence since 1944. Their mission includes helping sick, injured and orphaned wildlife through Wildlife Rehabilitation. Amy Sanders, Wild Care of Cape Cod Volunteer Outreach Coordinator and one of the 300 volunteers at Wild Care, spoke to the attendees of the 1,800 wild animals treated during 2019 along with nearly 10,000 wildlife helpline calls received each year. Special guests at the January Brunch were a box turtle and screech owl that were recuperating at the Center.
