Ann Christelle Labossier
Christelle is a rising senior from Taunton who is a community health major at Tufts. Christelle loves working with kids, is a tutor through Tufts Literacy Corps and has worked with pre-school students through JumpStart. She is currently a part of Tisch College’s Tufts Uni Prison Initiative as well as the team of students who work together in the Tufts Education Re-entry Network. Through her studies and work Christelle is devoted to issues surrounding the school-to-prison pipeline system and re-entry programs that support people who have been formerly incarcerated as they transition out of prison.
As a Community Health major Christelle is very committed to global health and maternal health issues. As an immigrant from Ayiti she hopes to one day support Ayiti through either immigration law or direct community health services. Christelle aspiration is to merge her love of cooking and dancing into her work in these fields because of her belief that they can bring communities together.
Garvel Cassamajor
Garvel is a rising senior from Raynham and is a chemical engineering major with a minor in engineering management. His time at Tufts has been largely devoted to academics, volunteer work in Boston and the South Shore, as well as tutoring students from 6th to 12th grade . He enjoys watching and playing basketball, listening to music, playing his trumpet, giving back to his community, and meeting new people.
After graduation Garvel hopes to work in the materials or pharmaceutical industry and after more schooling his goal is to commandeer his own lab with the proper certifications to manufacture industry-based products and to offer scientific consultation with consumers.
Rosemary Loer
Rosemary is a rising senior at Tufts who is from Orleans. She is a Mechanical Engineering major with a minor in Latin. She is treasurer of Tufts Energy Group and a member of Tufts Mountain Club . Rosemary’s goal after graduation is to work in the renewable energy field, specifically in offshore wind.
Outside of school, Rosemary’s interests include hiking, painting, and studying Latin.
