Fletcher Professor Sung-Yoon Lee delivered one of the finest reviews of North Korea’s past and present history, Countering North Korea’s Carrot-and-Stick Strategy along with the history of United States diplomatic efforts, both failures and successes, which are few, with present Supreme Leader Kim Jung-un and his father Kim Jong-il. Professor Lee teaches courses on Korea and US-East Asia relations at the Fletcher School, Tufts University.
