The Cape Cod Tufts Club held its Annual Meeting on Sunday, June 11th at the Hilton Doubletree in Hyannis.
Guests had the opportunity to learn more about the impactful work the Club is doing, such as raising money for Tufts Scholarships, hosting a wide range of programming, and presenting Book Awards to deserving students from across the Cape, Islands and South Coast.
At the luncheon, we were able to meet two this year’s three Scholarship winners in person: Vicki Tran from Norton, a rising senior at Tufts majoring in Engineering Psychology and Eric Rubens of Vineyard Haven, a rising Junior who is pursuing a BS in Biology at Tufts and whose passions are in the medical and healthcare field. Isabel Merle from Eastham, a rising senior pre-med major looking forward to a career in pediatric medicine was unable to join us as she was already hard at work on her summer internship. Isabel is a second-time winner of the Cape Cod Tufts Club Scholarship.
